Membership of Hill Barn Golf Club ('Hill Barn') brings you many benefits which are described in these pages along with an application form. We would also be very happy to show you around the Club and our courses – just ask us to arrange an appointment at a time convenient to you.

At Hill Barn we have a beautiful 18-hole course which you will really enjoy playing with your family & friends. The course was designed by Fred Hawtree and opened in 1936, so you will experience a round of golf on a mature, well designed course with over 100 bunkers. As the course is built on the South Downs it is free draining, so you can play year round without the mud which plagues other courses and you will see some spectacular views down across the town of Worthing and out into the English Channel. It is a truly beautiful place to play your golf.

By joining Hill Barn you are also becoming a member of the Maple Leaf Golf Group, meaning you have the benefit of playing at the group’s other clubs in Chichester & in Epsom for no extra charge.

So, in the unlikely event you tire of the beautiful setting, or just want a change, our club in Chichester is just a half hour drive away and offers two 18-hole parkland courses – the challenging Cathedral Course and more forgiving Tower Course – as well as a 9-hole Par 3 course, a driving range and much more. Horton Park Golf Club in Epsom is also included as part of your membership and you can get there in around an hour's drive, to play either the 9 hole course or the 6,000 yard Millennium Course.

There are bars and function rooms at all Maple Leaf Golf courses, which are available for hire. The bars are open daily and offer a varied range of food and drink throughout the day to suit your tastes.

As a member you will be able to reduce the cost of your friend's golf, through reduced member guest rates as well as benefitting from member discounted buggy rates and a 10% discount on non-sale items in the shop and clubhouse.

All in all we aim to make your golf as cost effective as possible as a member.

Membership is based on a 12 month period, renewable on the annual anniversary of your date of joining. You can choose to pay for the full year when you join or alternatively pay over the year by direct debit for which there is a small administration fee. We have very active members sections within the Club who organise regular competitions and social events. They are very friendly and are keen to meet new members. We will arrange for you to meet members to help you find your feet in the Club. If you would like further information on the sections or to meet some members, please let us know.
