It's a family feeling here at Hill Barn Golf Club in Worthing, West Sussex. We are part of a family - the Maple Leaf Golf family – with two sister courses all owned and operated by Richard and Sally Haygarth. We invite you to come here and to feel like one of the family, too!

This is a spectacular 75 year old public golf course which has been graced by the likes of Tony Jacklin and Peter Allis. The 18-hole course nestles in the rolling hills of the South Downs National Park and provides sweeping views out over Worthing and the English Channel. The course is an interesting layout with a variety of undulating fairways and subtly-sloped greens. A number of the holes have elevated tees offering you the chance to admire the panoramic views before playing to the fairway below.

The beauty of playing Hill Barn is that it’s set up for everyone. This is not your everyday public course; it’s a historic course that’s open to all.

The signature hole 11th, designed by the legendary Fred Hawtree, has a cunningly placed array of bunkers set into the hillside but an accurate tee shot will be rewarded by an excellent chance of a birdie.
